There are festivals, and then there is Copenhell in Copenhagen Denmark
For those of us who live for crushing riffs, soaring vocals, and amplifiers pushed to their limits, Copenhell is more than just a music festival. It’s a community. A gathering place. A celebration of everything heavy, loud, and unapologetically metal.
This song is my tribute to that spirit!
Joining me on the track is Kevin Akselsen. We’ve known each other since the early 2000s, when we both competed in various band contests with our respective bands. Over the years, we’ve remained good friends, and when this song began to take shape, I immediately felt that Kevin’s voice would be a perfect fit. Fortunately, he accepted the challenge and even contributed to parts of the lyrics.
While I wrote, composed, and produced the song, Chris Kreutzfeldt handled the mixing and mastering, helping to make sure it hits as hard as it was meant to.
Above all, this song is a celebration of Copenhell and the incredible atmosphere that makes it one of the most unique festivals in the world. A place where music, passion, and community come together in a glorious wall of sound.
